SECTION 38 RUDDER PETALS & BRAKE SYSTEM, Page 38-4, Step 1 to 6
Step 1, Located the F-6115 Rudder Pedal Bearing Block and drilled two #10 holes as shown in figure 1.
Step 2, Using the bandsaw I cut the block in half as shown in figure 1.
Step 3, I clamped the Bearing Block Mount Plate to the F-1039A Rudder Pedal bearing Block as shown in figure 2. Then Match-Drill #12 the holes as indicated just enough to leave a mark. Then undo the assembly and drill with #12 drill bit completely through the assembly.
Step 4, Final drill #12 the remaining three holes in the F-1039B Bearing Block Mount Plate. Then I deburred, removed the alodine, cleaned with Acetone and primed.
Step 5, After allowing the F-1039B Bearing Block Mount Plate time to dry I attached to the F-1013-L/R Fwd Fuselage Longeron using the hardware in figure 3.
Step 6, Slide the F-1039A Rudder Pedal Bearing Blocks on to the ends of the WD-1006-L/R Rudder Pedals and then bolt the bearing blocks to the F-1039B Bearing Block Mount Plates using the hardware in figure 3.
Time about 2 hours.
