Section 34 BAGGAGE AREA … Page 34 -5 Steps 1 to 7
Step 1,Final Drilled and then dimpled the holes in the F-1058 Hinge Frame to the F-1070-L Mid Side Skin
Step 2, Clecoed the F-1058 Hinge Frame to the Fuselage in it’s proper place.
Step 3, I Match-Drilled #30 the inboard hole at the bottom to the Baggage Floor.
Step 4, Final-Drilled #30 the tow holes at the top of the F-1058 Hinge Frame.
Step 5, I placed the Baggage Door Assembly in it’s proper place. I raised the free hinge up to remove the 0.035 inch slack and taped in position. I placed a 0.063 inch spacer at the bottom to fill the gap and center the Door Assembly. Flushed the Door Assembly and held secure with duct tape.
Step 6, Removed the tip of two #40 clecoes.
Step 7, After checking the fit again I drilled with a #40 drill a hole at the top (then clecoed using the custom made cleoes) and the same at the bottom of the hinge by drilling through F-1058 Hinge Frame into the F-1060 Hinge.
