Section 28, FWD FUSELAGE RIBS, BHDS, BOTTOM SKINS … Page 28-13, steps 1 to 4.
Step 1, I finally riveted the F-1084A-L/R System Bracket to the bottom skins, leaving the final aft 3 rivets blank until mating the tow assemblies.

Step 2, I mixed up some Pro-Seal as described in the directions and added the mixture to between the firewall flanges and the fuselage skin to prevent fumes, cold or hot air or water from entering the passenger compartment. Riveted the F-1043C-R/L Attach Angle to the Fwd Fuselage Bulkhead as shown figure 1. Riveted the tabs of all the F-1049 Fwd Fuse Floor Ribs to the Firewall. Rivet the lower flange of the Firewall Bulkhead that were Pro-Sealed to the Fwd Fuse Bottom Skin except for the 5 most outer rivet holes on each side, and since I am expecting to use a Lacombe I-540 engine leave the center most 3 rivets blank until later.

Step 3, I final bolted on the Fwd Center Section Bulkhead Assembly to the F-1048-L/R Fwd Fuselage Ribs with AN3-14A bolts, 365-1032 nuts and 960-10 washers, as shown in figure 2. Also riveted the web of the Fwd Center Section Bulkhead Assembly to the Fwd Fuse Rib with AN470AD4-5, as shown in figure 2.

Step 4, I connected the Mid Fuselage to the Fwd Fuselage Assembly as shown in figure 2, page28-9. Using the bolts and spacers to correctly keep the Fuselage aligned throughout the continuous process of building the X-10, in preparation of riveting the two assembles together.

Time about 4 hours.
