Brief Description: Section 26 Mid. Fuselage Ribs and Bottom Skins.

Section 26 Mid. Fuselage Ribs and Bottom Skins. Page 26-3 ..Steps 1... 10 …. I located all the necessary parts to complete the assembly. Step 1, I first created two Seat Belt Attachment Bars by removing the Tab found on top of the Seat Belt Attach Bar with a hack-saw. This created the Trimmed Seat Belt Attach Bar F-1016D. Step 2, Clecoed the Trimmed Seat Belt Attach Bar and the Forward Seat Belt Anchor F-814HPP to the Outboard Seat Rib F-1016-L/R. Step3, Final drilled all the #40 nutplate attachments, the ¼ inch diameter bolt hole in the Seal Belt Anchor and Final Drilled #30 the remaining holes in common with all. Step 4, Created the two F-1015E and F-1015-F (needed for Section 26-4) Spacers. Step 5, clecoed the Seat Rib Intercostal and the Spacer to the Outboard Set Rib. Final Drilled #40 all holes in common. And Final Drilled #19 the screw holes in the inboard flange of the set rib intercostals. And Final drilled #19 the open screw holes found at the top of the Outboard Set Rib Sub-assembly. Step 6 was to repeat the process for the Right Rib but this was already accomplished. Step 7, Disassembled all the above removed the sharper edges and the shinny anodizes coating, cleaned with acetone to insure that the DTM primer would adhere properly. Step 8, Dimpled the Nutplates and then riveted the same as per figure 3. Step 9 and 10, Clecoded and then riveted the nutplate and the Seat Belt Attach Bars and Anchor to the Outboard Seat Rib as specified in Figure 3. The rivet the Seat Rib Intercostal and Spacer to the Outboard Set rib then repeated this for the Right Outboard Set Rib Subassembly. Total Time was about 4 hours for both the Left and Right Outboard Set Rib Subassembly. Moving onto Section 26-4.
