Section 29, FUSELAGE SIDE SKINS …. Pages 29-19, Steps 1 to 5
Step 1, After completing the side skin riveting tasks I moved on and located the F-1086 Vent Bracket and F-1087 Vent Side and using the fixed band saw removed the hatch area to create a Left and Right A &B.
Step 2, I created tow assemblies by I clecoing together the newly created F-1087A Side Vent, F-1086B Vent Side, F-1092 Vent Door Doubler and the F-1093 Vent Door together. And Final Drilled #40 all holes in common.
Step 3, Using my file set I carefully smoothed the inside curved edges so a AN525-10R7 screw could easy slide without interruption. And while at it I debured all the edges and holes of the created assemblies.
Step 4, I cleoed the F-1086A and F-1086B Vent Bracket and the F-1096 Vent Doubler to the F-1070-L Mid Side Skins and again Final Drilled #40 all holes in common. Step 5, Then I machine counter sunk the holes in the F-1093 Vent Door and the F-1070-L and Right Mid Side Skins and disassembled all the sub-assemblies and debured and primed with DTM primer/finisher paint.
Time about 2 hours.
