Section 29, FUSELAGE SIDE SKINS …. Pages 29-18, Steps 1 to 2 Step 1, as stated I began by riveting the three AN426AD3-5 rivets below the single MS21051-L3 nutplate. And then I riveted the nutplates K100-3 as called out for in figure 1. Step 2, This is the major part of riveting the F-1069-L/R Forward Side Skins. The instructions say to begin at the bottom so I started by substituting some of the rivets AN426AD3-3.5 called out in figure 1 for some stainless steel CCC-32 cherry pop rivets that have superior holding strength. Then I worked my way up the side of the skin toward the top on both left and right side skins. Time about 8 hours for both skins.
