Section 29, FUSELAGE SIDE SKINS …. Pages 29-6, Steps 1 to 7
Step 1, I created the Baggage Door Seal Angle (F-10102A and F-10102B) for 1 piece of AA6-063 X ¾ X ¾ angle aluminum tot eh dimensions described in figure 1
Step 2, Interesting enough according to Van’s draftsmen’s there is no Step 2 so I am skipping this and moving on to Step 3.
Step 3, Cleced the F-1034B Seat Back Brace found in the kit and the F-1034E Seat Back Brace Gusset to the F-1046-L Mid Fuse Longerons. Offset the entire length of the F-10102A Baggage Door Seal Angle against the aft edge if the Seat Back Brace Gusset by 1/16” as shown in figure 2.
Step 4, Match Drill #30 the F-1046-L Mid Fuse Longeron into the F-10102A Baggage Door Seal Angle.
Step 5, Align the end of the F-10102B Baggage Door Seal Angle (the one that’s 4-3/8 “in length) to the F-10102A Baggage Door Seal Angle. And off-set this by 1/16” to the edge of the Mid Fuse Longeron and clamp into position.
Step 6, I Match-Drilled #30 and cleced the six holes common to the F-1046-L Mid Fuse Longeron, F-1034B Seat Back Brace, and F-1034E Seat Back Brace into the F-10102A Baggage Door Seal Angle. And Final Drill #30 the remaining holes in common as described in figure 2.
Step 7; Remove 3/8” from both the F-10102A and Baggage Door Seal Angle from the top as shown in figure 4.
Time about 2.0 hours.
