Brief Description:  Finishing upper skins

Squeezed lower spar/skin rivets with 4 inch yoke. Finished attaching tank screws, torqued tank bracket to spar bolts (40 in lbs total - 25 target plus 15 drag from friction of nutplate measured with beam type torque wrench). Pic 3 shows the project's largest error to date - Austin accidently slipped with the tungsten bar while riveting, and punched a small outward dent 1/4". I was able to drive the dent nearly flat witht he flush set on the outside and the mushroom bar on the back side. Worked great, then I just had to give it one more rap - bam, and I dented up the skin much worse with the bucking bar as it tilted slightly. None of this means anything structurally - just ego deflating. As I'm painting this plane in the end, the dent was pushed in, and will be filled with bondo or similar during paint prep. The wing was then removed from the stand and placed on the bench atop a layer of protective carpet. Next steps will be to fit some aileron and flap brackets on the rear spar, some internal linkage, then store in a cradle I will make. The right wing will then be started.
