Brief Description:  Buttoning everything up after inspection

Today was supposed to be a short day prior to first flight but it turned into one of the longest we have spent. We needed to button everything up that was left open for the air worthiness inspection. Some things had been in the bins for a year and some seemed to have "srunk". The bulk head covers went on without a hitch (Image #1). Then came the fitting of the floor boards and it seemed that none of the screws lined up! Things are cramped in there! See Image #2. Finally we got the floor boards in place and the aileron trim handle and several other things re-installed. The inspection plates and the tail fairing were next and again all needed tweaking. Finally the cowl was re-installed and you guessed it, the hinge pins didn't seem to want to go in. After another struggle, Image #3 shows we have a good fit! I guess 1st flight will have to wait until tomorrow.
