Brief Description:  Plumbed fuel & oil-Wired alternator/starter

This morning before Keith came, I started re-installing the inspection panels on the baggage center floor, the flap actuator panels, and the forward center floor over the fuel lines since they have already been inspected by Vern. I also changed the batteries in the ELT, tested it, and entered it in the air craft log. Then when Keith came, we continued plumbing the oil and fuel. To get the oil pressure fitting on the rear of the engine, we had to unbolt the engine mounts and lift the engine. Keith got his engine hoist and made a relatively easy job out of what would have been an impossible job for me. Image #1 shows the hoist in place and Keith leaning over installing the fitting. We also installed the oil temp probe and the oil and fuel lines and then I added 8 quarts of mineral oil. We had already drained the preservative oil earlier. We ran the wire to the alternator as seen in image #2 and began installing the wiring to the starter. It will require anchoring it to the oil pan in several places using altered Adel clamps. ....We hope to start the engine sometime next week!.....We now have 1495 hours of building time!
