Brief Description:  Inlet ramps glassed in top cowl

Today we took off some of our air seals that might conflict with the inlet ramps and put the bottom cowl on. We then mixed some flox and West epoxy and applied it to the inlet ramps and the air intakes. We then covered clecoes with paste wax and anchored the ramps in place on the intakes with them. Before the epoxy set up, we put the top cowl on to assure the ramps would not distort the cowl as they dried. Just before the epoxy set, we pulled the clecoes out leaving the cowl and ramps in place. I was concerned that the clecoes might get glassed in but I need not have worried for they came right out. That paste wax really is a good release agent! We had to wait on the epoxy to set over night so we rode our bikes and went home early.
