Brief Description:  Drilled side hinges and more fitting of cowl

We did some more careful filing of the lower cowl and then drilled the lower cowl to the side hinges. It was really difficult holding the hinge against the cowl to let us do the drilling because we were afraid to remove the upper cowl for fear of a shift in position. I was finally able to get a hinge pin in through the air exit and hold it. While I did this, Claude drilled away. I am really surprised that the lower cowl would not sag any when not mated to the upper cowl but it didn't as can be seen in Image #3. In Image #2 you can see what the solution was for "frequent prop strikes". After hitting our heads many times, we split a piece of foam rubber tubing and put it over the prop blades. Things are moving along toward the dreaded baffling if the many "prop strikes" have not given us a concussion.
