Brief Description:  Installed electric primer-#1 piston TDC

Claude worked on installing the 1/8th inch copper tubing from the primer solenoid to the gascolator and junction of the 3 primer lines already plumbed by Lycoming. We had some trouble cutting this small tubing with our tube cutter but finally got a good cut with the hack saw. Our little flaring tool made easy work of the flairs. While Claude worked on the fuel plumbing, I wired the "starter button" I had ordered from ACS to an unused 2 amp breaker, drilled a hole for it on our throttle quadrant and ran a wire out through the firewall to the solenoid. Everything seemed to work nicely. I couldn't find some butt splices to finish the job but this should not be a problem. While I was under the panel doing this wiring, I tied up and tidied up the wiring because we are getting an EAA inspection in the morning done by Vern Darley. This will be his 4th visit and I wanted him to see a neat job on our wiring. Mr. Long, an A&E, came by and we asked him to help us to find TDC on the number 1 cylinder which he did. Now we can install the prop in the proper position and then finally get on installing the cowl.
