Brief Description:  Sanded wind screen fairing-Plumbed fuel line

We sanded the wind screen fairing on the edges down to the top layer of the electrician's tape and since there was a "bump" in the center, we mixed some micro balloons and tried to smooth this out. We hope that next week we can sand this out and smooth the curve off the wind screen and front deck. When we had finished this, we tried to run the line from the gascolator to the mechanical fuel pump but as we suspected it was too short. The angled fitting on the gascolator was tight at a position 90 degrees off from the desired orientation. So we removed it and cleaned it and applied more fuel lube. It took 6-8 times doing this; each time getting closer until finally we got it right. The hose will now reach the pump with some slack. We also finally found the correct alternator belt (a Gates 7350) that fit and put it on.
