Brief Description:  Fit canopy latch & altered side skirts to fit

When we riveted the side skirts, brace , etc. we actually had the side skins hugging the fuse skins so tight that we couldn't open or close the canopy. We had to bend the side skirts out slightly and shorten them in a place or two to correct this. Now the canopy slides forward and back nicely. We then installed the canopy latch and carefully widened the radius of the "hook" until the canopy would lock tightly every time without effort. Before we got everything lined up just right, I got the canopy locked and couldn't get it back open. I had to climb in under the roll bar and open it from inside. Now we have hopefully corrected that problem for now that the wind screen is in place getting in would be an impossibility. Image #1 shows the handle in place and the canopy tightly closed.
Before we put the screen on, I opened up 2 holes in the glare shield so I could put my Garmin 396 GPS and XM radio antennas up there. They will be as close to the mid-line and as far forward as possible. After the screen is in place, it would have been impossible to get a drill in there.
