Brief Description:  Dog house installed-Skins dimpled ready for riveti

Today, we installed and drilled the "dog house". Images show this. All seemed to go well. As you can see from Image #1, we still have a 1/16 " gap in the rear skirt but this is in area that is slightly depressed by the rivet line in the turtle deck. I think that we will live with this. After finishing with the dog house, we took everything apart and dimpled and deburred everything. There are still 3 holes in the canopy that need countersinking and enlarging for the slide cover strip and dog house and then we will be ready for riveting. The expert on welding, "Goose Griffing, came by today and he will fashion us 2 pull handles from 3/8th steel rod and weld them to our roll bar Tuesday. He is going to use a TIG welder and he says this will not weaken the roll bar. He said that is the type welding that the factory used.
