Brief Description:  Fitting of rear skirts AGAIN-Angle mount for prime

We finally made some progress today. During the night last night, I woke up wondering how we could close the gap of rear skirt to turtle deck over near slider track. I thought that by shortening the skirt along the curve where it was touching that would allow the inboard end to sit down. So this morning I marked where the skirts were touching and ground them off with the Scotch Brite wheel. Finally something worked and the inboard skirt came down to 1/16" of an inch. I think that I will the fuzzy side of Velcro to put under the skirts to seal the small gap remaining. We then slid the rear skirt under the side skirt and marked it so we could lay out the rivet pattern on the rear skirt. This is seen in Image #1.
While I was making the adjustments to the rear skirt, Claude was fabricating an angle to put the primer solenoid on. We had seen a picture of one mounted just under the brake fluid overflow. It looks like this will be a good place for it but we will need 2 right angle 1/8" fittings to make it work well.
