Brief Description:  Installed rear canopy block-ready for drilling

We installed the rear canopy block today. It is now ready for drilling. After marking, drilling, and painting the clip, we installed it on the deck and bolted it down. We then found that the nylon block was too wide to fit in the clip. It is really tough stuff to grind down! When we had it the correct width, we marked the place where the spike hits it and put a starter hole there. We then marked the angle of the spike and the rail and marked them on the block. Tomorrow, we will drill the spike hole on the drill press. I think we have figured out how to set this up on the press using a drill press vise and tilting the table.
