Brief Description:  Drilled canopy-Cut windscreen to size-Began its fi

We repeated the countersinking of the canopy for they were still not quite deep enough. We then got the new plexi drill out and drilled all the holes in the canopy without mishaps!
After clecoing all together we put the canopy back on the track and put the uncut wind screen on the deck. After Claude marked it, I used a Dremel wheel to cut off the excess. Because there were some tight radiuses, I found that the Dremel worked better than the pneumatic cutoff wheel. The cut went well but when we put the windscreen back up on the deck, we found that we had been too conservative in cutting the front canopy bow on Friday and the canopy was still up approx. a 3/8" low in the center. So we took the canopy back off and shortened the front canopy bow. In Image #1 you can see that we now have a near perfect fit on the left.
In Image #2 you can see that the windscreen is still a bit low on the right. However I think that we can raise the screen up even with the canopy using spacers as suggested in the manual.
I like the way it looks, don't you?
