Brief Description:  Doubler for GPS antenna, riveted panel brackets

Claude found the description for correcting the 80 foot error in the Falcon altimeter. I had missed that after the screw was removed and the cog moved, the large knob is pulled out and the barometer set in the Kollsman window. When we did that ,everything just lined up.
We had forgotten in our haste yesterday to rivet a backing plate under the Garmin GPS antenna. The antenna is light but we felt better knowing that there was a backing plate under it. We had to take the forward skin off anyway to rivet the angles on the deck so I drilled out our pretty nut plates and we added a backing plate. This is seen in Image #1.
There are 2 little angles that are riveted to the deck to act as stops for the panel. It looks like a simple task to fit and rivet them but we had a time getting the panel, the nut plates, the rivet holes on the deck and the skin rivets holes all to line up. It took us all morning to get these things right. See image #2.
We also installed an avionics cooling fan and checked again for leaks in the fuel and brake lines. All was dry SO maybe tomorrow we can rivet the forward skin on!
