Brief Description:  Finished aft skin-Began roll bar installation

We finished riveting the stiffeners on the aft skin. See Image #1. This completes work on the aft skin until we mount the canopy tract and rail. you can see that the grey paint that I picked for the interior is almost the same color as the primer that we are using, a self-etching rattle can primer.
Then we began work on the canopy with trepidation. We measured out on the forward deck the location of the 4 bolts that will hold the roll bar in place. We drilled them out with a #40 drill and made the spacers that go under the forward deck to level the space between the longeron and the deck. Getting these pesky spacers under the deck for measurement etc. is a royal pain. See Image #2. The blue circle is around a rivet that is used as a reference for the measurements. The forward hole will be enlarged to a #12 and the rear will be 1/4".
