Brief Description:  Corrected some write-ups from Vern's inspection

Vern Darley had suggested we place insulation behind the battery since it is so close to the steel firewall which makes for a setup for an ark as I demonstrated when I was trying to disconnect the battery yesterday to put on the insulation boots. We had some Proseal left over from the vents so I got a piece of fiberglass from Sonny Stokes, shaped it and "glued" it to firewall with the Proseal. I then spray painted it with silver paint.
Vern also found when we had installed the manual aileron trim we had used the same bolts that were called for in the plans but were too short with the extra connection. I pushed the AN3-10 blot out with a #12 without dropping the washers in the clevis. You can see that I have torqued them.
We are taking next week off for Sun n Fun. My wife and I will be going down to Lakeland in our old motor home. I hope it gets us there. I surely wish we were flying down. Claude, having been Lakeland many times will stay in Waycross and serve free barbeque to the pilots stopping in to KAYS on their way south
