Brief Description: Air vents prosealed in-Firewall connections covere
Keith Thompson, an A& P mechanic in hangar next door came by to give us an informal inspection and suggested that we put insulation boots on all the terminals on the firewall which we did. See image #2) We mixed up some Proseal and sealed the cool air vents to the sidewall using the special clamps that Claude had made yesterday. Image #1 shows the left vent after it had set up and the masking tape removed. I am glad that Vern Darley had suggested the masking tape for you can see that it made a very neat job. We applied Velcro to mount the AOA control box and ADI battery. The battery will rest on the same shelf that we made for the AHRS and the AOA box will rest on a flange on the forward wall of the subpanel. They seem to be secure and they will be easy to remove and replace after the forward skin is in place.
