Brief Description: Primed-Honed main axles-Mounted plates to axle
We dismantled the forward deck structure and scuffed and primed them (see Image #1). The axles were slightly too large and we had some difficulty finding fine crocus cloth but when we did, I had no trouble honing both axles so that the bearings would slide right on. (See Image #2) All the hardware is now in place so we can lift the fuselage up and put on the main wheels.
