Brief Description:  Anchored rudder cable in/Ran strobe wires to tail

We had a cold (37degrees) and windy day but the little gas heater kept the side room of the hangar warm enough that we could go in there when we got too miserable out in the main hangar. Today we finished routing the rudder cables through the rear fuse skin and had some difficulty anchoring them in place with Adel clamps. (See Image #1) It would have been easier without the tail section being in place BUT WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE THE TAIL OFF AGAIN, I hope! We then looked for the connector to anchor the cable to the rudder pedals but finally realized that they needed to be fabricated after the rudder was in place for the length of the connector depends on how much slack one has in the cables. It varies according to the position of the rudder pedals. I have mine in the extreme forward position right now. I guess that after we get the rudder on, I will be "forced" to sit in the plane and push the rudder pedals while making airplane noises!...... Since we will be soon be putting the rudder on, we decided we had better run the wires from the strobe power supply to the tail. We made the major run in conduit anchored to the bulkheads with cable ties. We then were able to get the wires through the last 2 bulkheads by running them along a "J" stringer. We were able to get a grommet in the last bulkhead as can be seen in Image #2. We couldn't get one in the next one so we wrapped the wires with electrician's tape and the filled the hole with "Goop". I think that that will protect them.
