Brief Description:  Installed rudder stops/nut plates/end cap rudder

Today, while I was installing nut plates on horz. stab. for the empennage fairing Claude was fabricating the 2 rudder stops. I then installed them with some cherry max rivets that I had left over from the wing and regular rivets that I was able to squeeze. We then got the rudder out and fit the upper rudder end cap. The flange had to be cut to width using the Dremel cutting wheel. The fit is good but the cap is approx. 1/4" short and will have to be built up using some epoxy with microballoons. I need to install 12 more nut plates on the vertical stab also to fit the empennage fairing on...... Before we mount it again and the rudder end cap will need to be finished before the rudder can go back on.....Today we hit another milestone, 700 hours of construction!
