Brief Description:  Final CAD Aerotronics panel-Fit wing gap fairings

I got a final CAD drawing of the panel being assembled by Ron at Aerotronics. Looks good to me. I think that I will be able to swap out my Garmin 430 for the new 430 with WASS since they have not opened the box at Aerotronics. .... We finished fitting and drilling both wing gap fairings today and have the gap according to specs. We can now install the nut plates to finish the installation when the wings come off. We were able to get the correct gap by using the depth guage on the calipers and marking the amount needed to be trimmed. By doing that we were able to get an exact amount of gap without repeated fittings .... The plans state that leaving the push-pull cable release in the flap cable venire could be dangerous so I removed it and got a 1 inch hole cover from Lowe's. We had some trouble getting the rubber cover off so the chrome one would fit but I finally did and sealed it with Super Glue.
