Brief Description:  Left seat assembled & riveted-Right primed ready t

Today was really like fall. The temp was down in low 60's when we started. We had primed the right seat back yesterday. So, today, I reassembled it and riveted it back together with the pneumatic squeezer while Claude took the right seat back apart, deburred, scuffed, and primed all the parts. There was one line of rivets on the left seat that the squeezer could not get to so I drove the rivets with the gun while Claude bucked them. All came out almost perfect! It was a far cry from when we started riveting 4 months ago! ..... We had a great surprise! Claude had seen where a man, Bruce Sacks, from Perry, GA had the RV grin. In July 2006 he took off his RV9 after building on it for 5 YEARS. Claude could tell how enthusiatic Bruce was so he asked him to fly down sometime and let us see his plane. Neither Claude nor I had seen a RV so we were so happy when Bruce just showed up this morning to let us see and sit in our first RV. The cockpit was tight but comfortable. The finish on his panel was great! He had a basic VFR panel but it really looked good. He had done all fabricating of the panel and the wiring by himself, but it looked like Stein or someone had done. In fact Bruce had built the whole plane from scratch, not a "quick build" like pansies like me and Claude build. However at lour age we don't have 5 years to build a plane. We may not have 5 years to fly it. However, thanks to Bruce Sacks, we know that it can be done! THANK YOU, BRUCE!!!!!!
