Brief Description:  Layed out & drilled holes in angles, hinges etc. l

Today, we continued working on the seat backs. We layed out & drilled in assembly many angles and hinges and the LEFT seat back. All except one hinge is drilled. Tomorrow, we will finish drilling and then take it all apart and scuff all the parts and then prime them. Then the next day I can start putting them back together and riveting MANY rivets. Claude will probably continue to lay out rivet holes for the right seat back and drill them. You can't imagine all the various angles and hinges etc and all have to go a certain way or they won't fit. So far I THINK that we have the pieces oriented correctly????? In Image 1 you can see the clecoes holding all the parts together. The one large part in the foreground is the only part yet to be drilled and it will be held to the seat back by a hinge yet to be installed. You can note the 4 large holes in this piece. We had to cut them out with a hole saw..... Each hinge of course comes apart and must be oriented properly. Some hinges end in an open end and some with a loop and some loops have to be cut away. What a mess!
