Brief Description:  Retorqued pickup tube/Finished riveting 705 bulkhe

On Friday, we had assembled the antirotation bracket, torqued the nut holding the fuel pickup tube to it, covered everything with Proseal and riveted everything in place. We however could not find the secified torque values and undertorqued the nuts. Over the weekend, we found that the torque value was much higher than we had used, so today, we had to scrape off the proseal, drill out the rivets holding the antirotation bracket in place and retorque the nuts to 115 inch pounds. While we were there we checked to make sure that the pickup tubes were properly flared, which they were. Tomorrow, we will need to recover everything in Proseal and rivet things back together. .......... Having finished the retorquing, we then went back to pick up some loose ends. We had ordered special bucking bars and rivet drivers so we could get in some tight spaces on the 705 bulkhead. They had come so now we could finish all the rivets there. Claude's new intraocular lens had seated well so Dr. Clarke said he was free to rivet again after a 3 week layoff. So we got out all our new "toys" and began riveting in some really tight spaces. When we finished we declared the 705 bulkhead DONE finally.
