Brief Description:  Cut and riveted control stick/ aileron push rod

I have sold my Cherokee 140 but there seemed to be an intermittent problem with the nav side of the 2nd. radio. We flew it down to Criag Field in Jacksonville where they took the radio out and let us come home. Coming back, I flew under the hood and did an ILS approach. That might be the last one for quite a while. We were of course late getting started on the RV but flet like we had to do something. Claude made a template on his computer showing a pattern to set 6 pop rivets to hold the end rod bearings to the push rod. We then cut the push rod to length using a pipe cutter borrowed from Sonny Stokes. Using the drill press, we then drilled the 2 pieces and riveted the pieces together. You can see the end result in the picture. It appears to be "just right".
