Brief Description: Finished landing light/Assembled & installed both
This morning it was cloudy and cooler, thank goodness. With re-inforced wrapping tape, I was able to make a handle and pull the landing light lens into place and finally get the screws in, thus finishing the landing light. Claude and I then finished assembling the aileron bell cranks but when we tried to install them, we found Vans had mislabeled the parts. When Claude finally realized that, we switched wings and both bell cranks "fell" into place. We had to shorten the aileron push rods 1/8 inch and then I took them down for welding. We should be able to "hang" the ailerons next. Today Fedex delivered the backordered right aileron and both flaps so that is no longer holding us up.
