Brief Description: Aileron hinges riveted! Aileron gap fairing ready
I finally was able to squeeze the rivets on the inboard aileron hinge brackets and you can see from Image 1 they are nearly perfect, thank God! Then Claude and I clecoed the left aileron and flap gap fairings into place, reamed and deburred both, and dippled the aileron gap fairing. It was then scuffed and primed with rattle can of self-etching primer. Tomorrow, we should be able to finish dimpling the flap fairing and begin to rivet the fairings into place. We still haven't heard about when the flaps and right aileron will be shipped. I think that with wiring the wing, installing the pitot tube and landing light, we will be buzy
