Brief Description:  Assemble brake and rudder pedals

Removed the masking from the interior painting and everything came out fine with no runs or unwanted overspray. I left the heater blowing into the fuselage for 4 hours to make sure it's all cured. During that time, I assembled the rudder pedals and added the master cylinders for the brakes. Got everything assembled and then installed into the fuselage. Not sure which position to mount the pedals (there are 3 fwd/aft positions) so I put them in the closest (shortest pilot) pilot position to start. The assemblies rotate in nylon blocks at each end and one in the center. The friction seems more than I would expect even with greasing the mating surfaces but I'm guessing that if Vans thought this should be a friction free assembly they would have used some type or bearing rather than just metal pipes into nylon blocks. I'm guessing the effort required with your legs will probably seem like nothing once you are seated and pushing on the pedals. The brakes are ready to add plumbing and I have the pre made braided assemblies from Aircraft Specialty which should go in fairly easily.
