Step 14 has you taper the ends of the reinforcement angle (see last entry), which I did on my bench grinder. I cleaned up with a file and then smoothed it out with a Scotch-Brite pad.For Step 15 the ends are bent 6 degrees. This wasn't very hard, but it took a bit to get the ends as close to 6 degrees as I could. I think I ended up either at or +/- .5 degrees from 6 degrees.Step 16 has you trim the flanges of the front spar, but somehow I misread the instructions and missed the trimming part - and went right to the next step which is to drill a relief hole so you can bend the metal without making it warp.See picture 3. You can see that there's a notch cut about an inch in front of where I cut the flange at. That notch is suppose to be right at the flange. I sent Van's an email to see if I need to replace this part or not..
