Brief Description:  Fuel Hose Routing and FF Sensor 1

Today I decided to take a break from the baffles and work on mounting the fuel flow transducer. In a ideal world, the FF transducer should be located downstream of all fuel pumps, someplace without excessive vibration or heat. The best place to mount away from heat and vibe would be in the cabin, but since I have an engine-driven fuel pump, it needs to be in the engine bay.

I made a bracket to mount the sensor to the fron of the firewall. I also made a new doubler for the sensor hat will also replace the parking brake valve doubler.

I replaced the 45 degree fitting on the carb with a 90 degree fitting. The fuel hose will no come out behind the engine and connect to the sensor on the firewall. I will have to buy another hose to connect from the engine pump to the sensor.

I have a few option with the routing from the pump to the sensor.

1) Keep the existing 90deg fitting on the pump and loop the hose up and then back down to a 90 fitting on the sensor.
2) Replace the 90 fitting on the pump with a straight fitting have the line make a big loop straight out to a straight fitting on the sensor.
3) Same as about with maybe a 45deg on the sensor
4) 45deg on the pump routed in a 90 deg bend down to the 90deg on the sensor. (this seems like the best option so far).
