Today I received an order from Digikey with the schottky diode I am using to isolate the avionics buss so power doesn't back-feed to the main buss when the alternate feed is powered.
The airframe will likely provide sufficient heat dissipation, but just in case I cut apart a heaksink on an old CPU and mounted it to the forward side of the subpanel. I still need to remove the primer and add some heatsink compount before the installation is final.
