Brief Description: Empennage to Fuselage Assembly 3
Today I did more fitting of the horizontal stab to the fuselage. I level the fuselage for/aft and left/right, double and triple checked at multiple points. I then used shims the set the correct height of the stab spar over the aft deck so that with the forward spacer the AoI is zero degrees. I then measured from the firewall at multiple points to the LE of the stab to make sure it is square to the fuslage. I leveled the stab to match the fuselage and then pilot-drilled the spar to the F-611 bars. I drilled one side out to 3/16 and put a bolt in. I didn't get a chance to finish the other side before I had to close down for the day.
