Brief Description: Connecting the Trutrak Pitch & ARINC
These little connectors take some coordination and four hands to get them together properly. After crimping pins on each wire, you snap them in connector making sure they are in the right pin assignment. Then there is a little clamp that goes around the wires and fits inside the connector shell. This acts as a cable strain relief. Lastly, you try to assemble the clamshell around this concoction and get the little screws in between the two halves of the clam shell; they are what hold the connector to units. This is the hard part, because you are standing on you head hanging over the side of the fuselage while trying to get this all together. Oh boy! Two hours later with lots of bad language you are done. Joy atlast!!
