Brief Description: Wiring the panel light to the dimmer and test
No the lights don't get mounted like this, they actually are mounted under the panel brow and cast a nice even blue glow on the instruments. Most the instruments are back lighted like the GRT AFIS, GPS, Radios and the auto pilot, but you still need some light to see the switches, backup airspeed, altimeters and VSI. These light strips are also very low power and last close to forever. The visual impact is also pretty cool, I will show pictures when the panel is done. These hooked in to the dimmer system that I installed a few days back and are fully dimmable. Really coooool!!
