Brief Description: Vertical Stabilizer attach parts
I had plans to mount the vertical stabilizer today, but just ran out of time. The parts required including the F-781, D-712D & F-712E looked like about an hour to make and turned out to be more like four. I also needed to finish riveting the remainder of the F-712 bulkhead which needed some careful fitting and line up work and then driving and squeezing 30-40 rivets of various lengths to attach the assembly to the skins, stiffeners and longerons. Next week first thing I will start on attaching the vertical stab and plan on spending a day doing it to make sure it goes in right and I’m not rushing this important mount.
