Brief Description: Preperation for attaching the vertical stabilizer
I spent the morning preparing for the VS attachment to the fuselage. I clamped it in place and to the 7 11/32” drop point from the longeron and squared it up. I also measured from both HS tips to make sure it was perfect and then I even dropped a plumb bob through the hinge holes to get the VS spar perfectly straight. I used a smart leveled to get the fuselage level in both directions although I had to used a shim or two under the fuselage stand to get it there. Then I started back drilling into the VS rear and front spars. I started with #30 and the opened the holes up for the AN 3 bolts.
