Brief Description:  More work on the push tubes and ailerons

I continued to fiddle with the push tube lengths, and pursued perfection of the line up of the flap, aileron and wing tip with the stick help in the absolute vertical position. I almost accomplished the mission, however there are slight sheet metal variance in the flap and ailerons to get it perfect. My gaps are per the plans, but if I line up the tips the ailerons at the aileron spar they are maybe a 1/16' higher then the tip and the same point. I went to look at Jerry's RV and he has the same issue on one side, but not the other. Mine is the same on both the left and right wing, at least they are symmetrical. There are 2 fixes if required; one is to fill the wing tip in that area to match the aileron, the second in to lower the aileron 1/16 by making a new mounting bracket. Since this is a QB wing the issue was created in the Philippines or the drawings are off slightly. I will call Vans and get some direction and if necessary order a new powder coated hinge without the holes and move them the required amount. I suspected they will say "get real" its sheet metal, that’s good enough, I just like perfection.
