Brief Description: Painting the interior with Dupont VariPrime
This DuPont system is really nice to use, but it will kill you in a heart beat. You must wear a fresh air breather and goggles and it is best to have the paint suit on. I was outside, and using a small gun with limited overspray. If you are in a paint booth, don’t forego any of the safety equipment.
The way to get the best results is to lay down a very thin tack coat and walk away for 20 minutes. Then come back and lay down 1 heavy coat and your done. Remember I primed with Variprime this morning, and was laying down the tack coat 3 hours later. This is key to a really tough finish chemically bonded to the aluminum.
Yep that is a Lowes Detail gun and it work great
I wouldn't use this on the exterior, but it is perfect for the interior
