Brief Description: Painting the Interior with Dupont Imron
After taping off under the seats and the rear of the fuselage, I sprayed the interior with Dupont self etching VariPrime. This system requires that you paint the Imron on with in the next 8 hours to get a chemical bond. I started this at 8 AM an got throught the taping and primer by noon. Then is was on to the final Dupont Dove Grey Imron in the afternoon. I spray the primer on in the hanger, because it dries so quickly and does not leave paint residue every where. It does leave a powder, but that is easy to clean up.
