I decided to do the same thing with the fresh air vents as I did yesterday with the static ports. That is; drill, dimple, countersink the vent, Pro-Seal to attach and hold with clecos while bonding and come back after it hardens and rivet. Since the vents are plastic of some sort, I decided the rivets should have aluminum backups and made some ½” square x .030 plates to buck the back side of the rivets against. I hope to mix up one batch of the “black death” (Pro-Seal) and get both the static ports and the air vents done at one time. Stay tuned.
