The wings are really starting to come together. I decided I didn't like the wimpy 3/8" bushing and turned some 3/4" bushings instead. OK, it does add some weight, but not much, because the heavy 960 washers come out. In fact I think it is a trade off. What I do like is the ease on taking the ailerons on and off with the bushing and cutting down on all the little washers. What a hassle trying to put them on with all the little stacked parts. Also, there has to be some style point for looking better, I even turned little shoulders where the go up against the ball ends. Last, but not least is drag, it has to be better then the original, besides I had the 3/4" bar stock and a great lathe. Oh yeah, it was raining anyway and it’s done. Ah, the satisfaction is good also. Maybe I am RV possessed.
