Applied the 2nd coat of paint, Majic says to wait 24 hours between coats. So far it looks like it is going to look quite nice. It will not be a high gloss finish - this is not what I want, I want a matte finish so sunlight reflection is mitigated as much as possible.
The color matches the Van's powder coat color so well, I can't actually see any difference in color, only in finish - gloss versus satin/matte.
The color also matches the 25 or so other parts I had power coated locally extremely well, so I am pleased to be using a simple paint for the interior that I can easily go forward with on touch-up maintenance if/when needed.
First coat is light to prevent any runs in the paint. So far, so good.
