Brief Description:  Adjust Engine Control Cables, etc...

Decided that I needed to remove the jam nets that I very smartly decided was a good idea to install on the engine control cables securing the clevis cable connectors. The plans do not call for jam nuts at this location; they are called for on the rod end bearing connectors at the engine side of each cable.

• Removed the throttle quadrant,
• Removed each engine control cable from the engine side.
• 'Un-screwed' each engine control cable from the clevis cable connectors.
• Removed the jam nuts
• Re-Installed the engine control cable to the clevis cable connectors at the throttle quadrant.
• Re-Installed the engine control cables to the rod end bearing connectors at the engine.
• Tested the movement of each engine control cable to ensure stop to stop operation, happy to report all three engine control cables now move stop to stop.
• Secure the pass-thru for the engine control cables at the firewall using cable pass-thru hardware.

After a consult with Marty, replaced the three WDG6 clamps securing the cables to the engine mount (to prevent rubbing) with WDG8, so each cable can move without binding when the engine moves, and the engine mount does not.
