I made the lower wheel pant intersection fairing removable in case I mess up the wheel pant over time. The rear fasteners for the wheel pant to the bracket land right in the middle of the joint of the pant and fairing. I decided to cut a circular piece from the fairing and epoxy to the pant. I clamp the intersection fairing to the work bench which has a 2.5-inch hole, centering the fairing where I wanted to cut over the hole, then used the fastener hole to center the hole saw to cut the circular piece from the fairing. I took the circular cut off piece (really half-moon) and epoxied to the pant, eliminating the joint at the intersection of the pant and fairing.
Also took the opportunity to install a set of spring loaded access doors on the outboard side of the wheel pant in line with the pant attach bolt to the gear axel retainer. Located the place to center the pilot hole, and final drilled using unibit. Located the two rivet holes and drilled for AN426-3 rivets. Countersunk the rivet holes in the pant, then riveted the door to the inside of the pant. Repeated the process for the other wheel pant.
